Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Today, you will take a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, our driver-guide will be ready to pick you up, commencing a picturesque journey to Tarangire. The park is near Arusha city, and it will take approximately 2 hours to reach the Tarangire gate. In the evening, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Our plan includes a full day of exploration in the park, with opportunities to spot herds of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today will drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a great number of animals living within the crater including lions, buffalos, zebra, hyenas, and antelopes. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the rhinoceros. You will enjoy a picnic lunch along the crater lake. You will proceed with game drives. Afterward, you will drive to the lodge close to Lake Manyara National Park.
The crater is the world's largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2.3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Game Drive in Lake Manyara then Flight Back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel for a game drive within Lake Manyara National Park, accompanied by a picnic lunch.
Covering an area of 330 square kilometers, with up to 200 square kilometers as the lake during high water levels, Lake Manyara is ideal for bird watching. The park is also home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and the possibility of encountering the legendary tree-climbing lions!

In the afternoon, you will drive to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
