Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and embark on a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. En route, you'll witness the transformation of the landscape, transitioning from Arusha's bustling urban environment to expansive plains and charming Maasai villages.

Upon entering the park, you'll encounter the Tarangire River adorned with acacia and baobab trees, providing a picturesque setting for wildlife to roam throughout the day. In the dry season, numerous animals from the Maasai steppe migrate to the Tarangire region in search of water, offering you the opportunity to observe a diverse array of species within a short span.

Indulge in a picnic lunch at one of the park's designated areas, relishing an unparalleled view of the Tarangire River. Exercise caution with your food, as the local monkey population may eagerly seize a chance to snatch a tasty treat!

In the late afternoon, we will conclude the day by returning to Arusha.

Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour

After being picked up by our driver, you will journey to Materuni village and its enchanting waterfalls. Traverse the tropical trails beneath the banana canopy, all the while engrossed in thrilling, legendary tales about the villagers residing on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Immerse yourself in the rich biodiversity of the forest, featuring vibrant birdlife, captivating butterflies, and an array of medicinal plants. Along the way to the waterfalls, relish spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Upon reaching the magnificent waterfalls, capture beautiful moments with photographs before making your descent back to the village. Indulge in a locally-prepared lunch and delve into insights about local history and traditions. Witness the coffee plantations belonging to the Chagga community, where villagers will demonstrate the intricacies of coffee farming and processing.
