Day 2
Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, depart to the lush and scenic Aberdare National Park. Spend the afternoon on a guided nature walk spotting rhino, elephants and rare mountain species. Aberdare National park is known for its diverse landscapes, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking natural beauty. Nestled in the central highlands of Kenya, the park covers an area of approximately 766 square kilometers and offers a unique and immersive safari experience.
One of the highlights of Aberdare National Park is its spectacular mountain ranges, with peaks reaching over 4,000 meters above sea level. The Aberdare Range is part of the eastern branch of the East African Rift System and provides a stunning backdrop to the park's landscapes. The rolling moorlands, deep valleys, and dense bamboo forests create a picturesque scene that will enthrall you. After a whole day full of adventure retire for dinner and overnight stay at Ark Lodge with treehouse-style guest rooms ideal for wildlife viewing.

Samburu National Park

Take a scenic drive up north today into rugged Samburu Reserve. Samburu National Park is famous for its wildlife species that can rarely be found in other parts of Kenya. Visitors have the opportunity to spot rare animals such as Grevy's zebras, Reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, Beisa oryx, and gerenuks. These unique species, along with elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and buffalo, offer incredible game viewing experiences. The park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts and offers an amazing array of avian species. With over 450 bird species recorded, including the Somali ostrich, vulturine guinea fowl, and the rare bateleur eagle Enjoy a packed lunch Enroute before an evening game drive along the Ewaso Ng'iro River. Explore the diverse Buffalo Springs Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives. Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Travel to Ol Pejeta located in the Laikipia County of Kenya, it is known for its incredible wildlife experiences and conservation efforts. It is one of the largest and most successful private wildlife conservancies in East Africa.
The conservancy offers a unique blend of diverse landscapes, including vast plains, acacia woodlands, and scenic views of Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta Conservancy has incredible wildlife. It is home to a wide array of animals, including the Big Five elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. It is particularly famous for its critically endangered northern white rhinos, being one of the last remaining places where they can be observed. Guided game drives provide the perfect opportunity to spot these majestic creatures, as well as other iconic wildlife. Afternoon game drive in search of the Big 5 with sundowners at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a sweet waters cottage at Kicheche Laikipia Camp bordering the Conservancy.

Lake Nakuru is known for its large populations of flamingos that gather on the shores of the alkaline lake. You will witness this incredible phenomenon from designated viewpoints or take a boat trip on the lake for a closer encounter with these elegant birds, overlooking the lake.
