Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Commencing our day with an early morning game drive, we set out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Distinguished by its unique status as a Conservation Area rather than a National Park, Ngorongoro is a harmonious blend of wildlife preservation and the traditional grazing practices of the local Masai people and their cattle.

As we traverse through Ngorongoro, glimpses of the Masai way of life unfold. Pausing at the entrance gate, an opportunity arises to delve into the captivating details of this volcanic landscape. Our journey then takes us along the rim of the Crater itself, offering a vantage point to observe herds of wildebeest or buffalo below.

Descending into the crater, we discover a natural sanctuary formed by its walls, providing a haven for a rich variety of animals. Expect captivating encounters with lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and, if luck is on our side, the elusive leopard.

Day 4

Lake Manyara National Park

Embarking on our journey today, we venture to Lake Manyara National Park for a comprehensive day of game drives. Although one of Tanzania's smaller parks, it promises a rich and varied safari experience. The lakeshore of Manyara is alive with vibrant birdlife, and as you scan the skies, you might chance upon the elusive tree-climbing lions. The park surprises with a diverse array of large mammals, set against the striking cliffs of the Rift escarpment that create a dramatic backdrop. In the late afternoon, we make a brief journey from the park to reach our permanent tented camp.

Departure Information:
This tour concludes in Arusha at 15:30hrs. Departure on the same day is only possible if you have a booked Domestic flight leaving from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17:40hrs or later, or an International Flight departing at 19:00hrs or later. Alternatively, for earlier flights, you may need to arrange post-night accommodation.
