Serengeti, recognized as the oldest and most renowned national park, holds the distinction of being a world heritage site and recently earned the title of the 7th Worldwide Wonder. The park is particularly celebrated for its annual migration spectacle, where six million hooves thunder across the open plains. Witnessing over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson gazelles joining the wildebeests on their trek for fresh grazing is a truly remarkable experience. Even during quieter times, the Serengeti offers unparalleled game-viewing in Africa, featuring large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and an abundance of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles.

Central Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, renowned as the habitat of majestic big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. A picnic lunch will be provided during the day, and as evening descends, we'll return to the camp for a cozy evening around the campfire, refreshing showers, and an overnight stay.

Witness the remarkable spectacle of a million wildebeest, each following the ancient rhythm of nature. Engaging in a frenzied three-week period of territorial conquests and mating, these creatures undergo a survival of the fittest journey with 40km (25 miles) long columns navigating crocodile-infested waters during their annual exodus north. This extraordinary pilgrimage results in a population explosion, producing over 8,000 calves daily, before the 1,000 km (600 miles) journey begins anew.

Ngorongoro boasts the jewel of its landscape—an expansive, volcanic crater, distinguished as the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera globally. Stretching about 20 kilometers across, plunging 600 meters deep, and covering an area of 300 square kilometers, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as a mesmerizing natural marvel. Our exploration includes a visit to Lake Magadi, a substantial yet shallow alkaline lake nestled in the southwestern corner of the crater.
