Arrival & Head to Tarangire Park

Your Safari guide will pick you up at the airport. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park. This journey drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads. Tarangire National Park, a jewel within Tanzania's safari circuit, unfolds like a canvas of untamed beauty. Renowned for its expansive landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, the park is a haven for diverse wildlife, drawing travelers into an immersive African safari experience. The Tarangire River flows through its heart, attracting an impressive concentration of elephants, creating breathtaking scenes of these majestic creatures against the backdrop of baobabs. Beyond the iconic pachyderms, the park hosts a rich tapestry of wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a myriad of bird species.

After your game drive, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

Have an early breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 45 minutes).
