Nestled along the banks of the majestic Zambezi River, Mana River Camp offers a unique retreat situated between this grand perennial river and a popular watering hole frequented by elephants for their mud baths. Shaded by a riverine forest primarily composed of Trichilia Emetica and the iconic Faidherbia albida (known as the apple ring or Anna Tree), the camp exudes natural beauty.
What sets this camp apart is its mobile tented setup, known as a Temporary Extended Camp (TEC). At the end of each season, before the onset of the wet season, the entire camp is dismantled, offering a true bush camping experience reminiscent of days gone by. With no fences to hinder the wildlife, you can revel in the serene atmosphere while observing a variety of animals that frequent the area, with elephants often making friendly visits to the camp.
