You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you'll pass bustling Maasai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa. Once you've entered Tarangire, you'll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river itself runs throughout the year and is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the Dry season. Lined with acacia and baobab trees, the river is regularly visited by the park's large elephant population as well as other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes.

Karatu to Serengeti
Drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy an en-route game drive. You will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park between 15h00 and 17h00. Return for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy an early breakfast, then proceed for an early morning game drive between 06h00 and 11h30. Return to the tented camp for lunch and then depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying an en-route game drive on your way to Rhino Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard (which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot).
You will return to the campsite where you will enjoy lunch. Later, you will be transferred back to Arusha.
