You will enjoy a chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale National Park, one of Africa’s premier primate destinations and home to the highest diversity of primates in the world. In the morning, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by ranger guides on chimp trekking rules before the activity begins at 8:00 am. Trekking time and terrain vary depending on the location and movement of the gorilla families, making each experience unique and adventurous. Once you locate a habituated gorilla family, you will spend a magical one hour observing them closely as they feed, play, groom, and interact in their natural habitat, encounter with these gentle and endangered giants. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation in the tranquil forest surroundings.
