On your arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport based on the flight’s ETA, we'll drive you to your hotel in Nairobi. If you will be arriving in the afternoon, you will have time to do the city town tour of Nairobi. Later in the evening, we will take you to the Carnivore Restaurant for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving later in the evening. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. You can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird-watching, hiking, picnics, and game drives. Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species, including huge flocks of flamingoes and many other water birds. It is an excellent park for wildlife spotting and is home to many water-loving animals such as hippos and waterbucks.

Day 3-4

Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have lunch en route and a Maasai Boma cultural tour. You will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll enjoy the Maasai Boma cultural tour and learn the lifestyle of the Maasai warriors. In the evening, you will have a game drive. Later, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at your luxury lodge.

You'll spend the full day on tour. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch en route. Later in the evening, you'll drive back to your hotel. Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Wildebeest traverse the plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek Rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people. Mara offers the best safari destination in Kenya.

Day 5-6

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will leave Masai Mara National Reserve and drive through the cooler highland region towards the Serengeti National Park. The world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with its diverse landscape ranging from grass plains and dry savannah to marshy woodlands, is the stamping ground of many carnivorous predators and their prey. The park is home to the largest animal migration in the world and depending on the season, you will be able to witness this spectacular event unfold. The herds of wildebeests and zebras journey in the short rainy season of November and December from the hills in the north to the southern plains before returning to the north during the longer rainy season of April to June. The location of the migrating herds is dependent on the yearly rainfall, but your guide will know where the best vantage points are for wildlife viewing because you'll have two nights in Serengeti.
The night will be at the Melia Serengeti Hotel.

In the early morning, you will set out on another game drive in the Serengeti before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Soon the 600-meter-deep unbroken caldera will open up before you and you will have a moment to take in the fantastic, awe-inspiring views of the collapsed volcano. Your lodge lies directly on the crater’s edge, offering a once-in-a-lifetime view as the sun slowly sets over the crater. Nestled in your tent, thinking about the adventure the next morning brings, you will drift off to sleep.

Day 8

Early in the morning, you will head down the forested slopes into the crater on a steep and narrow path. The crater floor is covered in open grassland with the occasional acacia tree and two small wooded areas. Teaming with wildlife, you will be able to see many animals in a short period and might even be able to tick the— Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard— off your list. Other animals present in the crater area include wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, hippos, and more than 500 species of birds. You will spend the entire morning exploring the park and after a picnic lunch in the crater, you will return to Karatu where you will arrive by early evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world. After lunch, you'll continue with an afternoon game viewing in the park, home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala, and more. On drier ground you'll find the Kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird; the stocking-thigh ostrich, the world’s largest bird; and small parties of ground hornbills blustering like turkeys. More ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird, and the somewhat drabber Rufus-tailed weaver and ashy starling.
