After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands before descending onto the endless plains. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Begin the day with one final morning game drive in the Serengeti before traveling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries and a paradise for photographers. The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, spotted hyenas, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater’s dramatic scenery, seasonal flamingos on Lake Magadi, and diverse habitats provide endless photographic possibilities. After the game drive, continue to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.
