Your guide (or one of our representatives) will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and escort you to Arusha where you will spend the night. The drive from the airport to your hotel is about 45 minutes. Later on, your tour consultant (accompanied by your safari guide) will meet you for your safari briefing which includes sharing important tips while on safari.
If you arrive early, you can opt to add one more of the following activities (activity supplement applies):

Day 2

Early in the morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and transfer you to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your safari flight to Northern Serengeti.
Upon arrival in Kogatende Airstrip, your guide will be at the airstrip waiting for you for a thrilling day of game drive in the Northern Serengeti. North Serengeti features gorgeous landscapes of green rolling hills, granite outcrops and acacia woodlands dotting open savanna, incredible wildlife, and most importantly, with massive herds of wildebeest and zebra between late June-October. The Great Migration includes more than 2.5 million wildebeest driven by ancient rhythms and natural instincts following water sources in a clockwise rotation traveling 1,600 miles per year.
After a rewarding day, you will arrive at your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Enjoy a nourishing breakfast at your camp before embarking on a full day of game viewing in the Northern Serengeti. Your entire day is dedicated to seeing the best of the Northern Serengeti including tracking the Wildebeest Migration in the Northern Serengeti plains and the Mara River. You will witness giant herds of Wildebeests - with the chance of seeing more than 2.5 million Wildebeests, zebras and gazelles crossing the famous Mara River to the Maasai Mara Reserve. The big five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalos) are commonly spotted in northern Serengeti.
After a rewarding day of game drive in Northern Serengeti, you will return to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

After a leisurely morning and hearty breakfast, you will board your safari jeep for another incredible day in the Central Serengeti!
You will descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti i which offers everyday opportunities to see Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word “siringitu”, meaning “endless plains”. You will see why once you see its ocean of grassland savannas stretching to the horizon as far as your eye can see. The abundance of African wildlife is, of course, what makes it such a sought-after safari destination. Animals include healthy populations of lion, buffalo, impala, hippo, waterbuck, elephant, cheetah, leopard and a host of other game species—not to mention the more than 400 species of birds.
After a rewarding day of game viewing, drive further to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Enjoy the final game drive in Serengeti and yet more heart-stopping photo opportunities! Serengeti accommodates a great number of wildlife including healthy populations of lion, buffalo, impala, hippo, waterbuck, elephant, cheetah, leopard, and a host of other game species – not to mention the more than 400 species of birds.
Later, proceed to Ngorongoro, at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite number of animals.
Following this preview to tomorrow descent into the Crater, you will proceed to your lodging located at the rim of the crater for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on its floor. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcano caldera formed three million years ago and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and Africa's most remarkable geological sites.
The crater has a unique ecosystem that is inhabited by more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest you can encounter almost every animal species of the East African savanna, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).
Later on, ascend the crater and proceed to the respective airport in time for your air transfer back home or to your next destination.
Note: To avoid the pressure of getting to the airport, you may consider adding an extra night in Arusha and fly out the next day. Our team is happy to assist you with booking the additional night.
