Journey from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha, where you meet your guide and depart by pop-up roof 4x4 towards the famous Serengeti. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands before the landscape opens into the vast plains of the park. En route you enjoy a game drive, with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, antelopes and the first big cats. In the late afternoon you arrive at your tented camp in or near central Serengeti, where you can relax, enjoy dinner and prepare for the days of adventure ahead.

Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast you head out for a full-day game drive in central Serengeti, an area known for excellent year-round wildlife viewing. Your guide will search for lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as elephants, buffaloes and large herds of plains game. Depending on conditions, you may follow the movements of the herds and stop at scenic spots to enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. In the late afternoon you return to camp to relax by the fire, share stories of the day and enjoy a hearty dinner under the stars.

Final Serengeti Game Drive & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast you enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti, making the most of your last morning on the plains. You may revisit favourite areas or explore a new part of the park in search of any wildlife you have not yet seen. Around midday you begin the drive back towards Arusha, passing once more through the Ngorongoro highlands. On arrival in Arusha you are dropped off at your hotel or agreed meeting point, where your three-day Serengeti safari comes to an end.
