Day 1

Your safari will commence from your hotel in Zanzibar. Following pick-up, you'll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for a 1.5-hour flight. Departing from Zanzibar Airport, your journey will take you above the stunning vistas of the Indian Ocean, the Tanzanian hinterland, the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands, and the expansive Serengeti before descending to Seronera Airstrip. The aerial panoramas are truly awe-inspiring!

Within just half an hour of touchdown, you'll find yourself aboard a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, poised to embrace all that the Serengeti has to offer. Come noon, there will be a picnic interlude for lunch, providing a chance to stretch your legs before resuming your adventure.

As dusk descends, we'll return to African Safari Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exhilarating game drive. Around midday, indulge in a delightful lunch at the crater's base. Renowned as one of the eight Wonders of the World, Ngorongoro is a vital sanctuary teeming with a diverse array of wildlife.

Expect to encounter majestic elephant bulls and the vulnerable black rhino during your exploration. The crater also hosts significant herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and nearly 400 bird species.

Upon concluding your afternoon game drive, return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Charity Hotel.

Day 3

After your morning meal at the hotel, embark on a journey to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, complete your registration at the village office to initiate your adventure. Your first destination will be the waterfalls, just a 40-minute walk away. The pool at the base of the waterfall offers a perfect opportunity for a refreshing swim, so be sure to bring your swimwear along.

After indulging in the breathtaking scenery, leisurely return to Materuni Village with your guide, where you'll relish a traditional Chagga lunch. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to sample our local banana beer. Then, delve into the coffee experience, learning about the cultivation, drying, roasting, and processing of coffee. You'll even be invited to participate in grinding the coffee, all while enjoying Chagga songs and dances—an enchanting way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Finally, in the evening, depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam.
