Nairobi - Maasai mara

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi pick up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for Masai Mara driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view to the valley before proceeding to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch.

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Proceed for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp.

After breakfast you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline–enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Naivasha–you have an option to take a boat ride in this fresh water lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at extra cost. Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

After breakfast have a nature walk in the Hell's Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this only. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson's Gazelle, and Baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chanler's Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop back to Nairobi hotel.
