Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Arusha for the drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. The park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River where animals gather to drink during the dry season. You will have a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your exploration through its diverse landscapes. Later in the afternoon, drive to Karatu for overnight.

Karatu- Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most breathtaking wildlife havens in the world. The crater floor is home to more than 25,000 animals including elephants, black rhinos, lions, hippos, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. You will enjoy a full game drive with picnic lunch at a scenic site near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening where your safari ends.
