Airport Pick Up and Transfer to Jinja with Evening Boat Cruise to the Source of the Nile

On day 1, you will transfer from Kampala to Jinja City, a city located in southeastern Uganda known for its adventure sports, including white water rafting on the Nile River and its most popular activity in Jinja, offering an adrenaline rush and a chance to explore the beauty of the Nile River and its rapids. You'll have a stopover around Sezibwa Falls for a guided nature walk and sightseeing.

Thereafter, you'll head to Mabira forest where you will engage in a nature walk through the forest. Here you will see several monkeys, different types of tree species, and birds among others. Later, you'll proceed to Jinja passing through different sugar and tea plantations. On reaching Jinja, you'll visit the Bujagali Falls. Later, you'll take a boat to the source of the Nile, and also visit Samuka Island where you will have a great time viewing birds. In the evening, you'll check in at the hotel, have dinner, and have an overnight stay at the lodge.

Full or Half-Day White Water Rafting Experience on River Nile

On the second day of your 2 days of Jinja and white water rafting, you will enjoy a full-day white water rafting or half-day water rafting experience escapade on the river Nile. After having breakfast at your lodge, your driver director will take you for a briefing before you start your white-water rafting escapade. From there, you will start the thrilling white water rafting.

White water rafting on the Nile takes you through some of the best grades of rapids. You'll enjoy the experience as you raft through the most remarkable leaps and drops.

You will enjoy sightings of forested islands, and daily local activities like fishing, and swimming. White water rafting is one of the most popular and electrifying water activities enjoyed on the River Nile. After spending a whole day in the rapids, you'll return to your lodge. You'll refresh, check out of your lodge, and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
