Day 1

Zanzibar to Tarangire national park

Zanzibar to Tarangire national park

A driver will pick up participants from their hotel in Zanzibar at 5:00 a.m., depending on the hotel's location. Participants will then head to the airport for a flight to Arusha, which is expected to land around 9:15 a.m. Once participants arrive at Arusha Airport, a guide will be there to welcome them.

From Arusha, participants will commerce on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its expansive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, among the largest on the continent. Travelers will journey in an open-roof vehicle and immerse themselves in the park's diverse landscape, including seasonal swamps, sweeping savanna, and the lively Tarangire River, home to a rich variety of wildlife.

The park offers a captivating variety of wildlife, including birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants.

As the day ends, participants will head to their lodge for a delightful dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Ngorongoro crater back to zanzibar

After an early breakfast, participants will set off for the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the black rhino, known as one of the most elusive animals to spot.

Once inside the breathtaking crater, visitors will witness Africa's version of 'Noah's Ark,' featuring a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and many more. During the afternoon, visitors can stop by the hippo lake for lunch and then go on another game drive as they ascend back to the crater rim.

Afterward, participants will return to the lodge, check out, and drive to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch their evening flight to Zanzibar.
