This morning, embark on a journey to Dar es Salaam airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, you will be greeted and driven to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating game drive. Delight in the abundant wildlife amidst the picturesque landscapes. Spend the night at Octagon Lodge, where lunch and dinner will be provided. Each person will also receive daily drinking water.
Tarangire National Park spans nearly 3,000 sq km and is renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which meanders through its terrain. Particularly enchanting during the dry season (June - November), Tarangire boasts wildlife concentrations rivalling those of the Serengeti. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting significant populations of elephants and diverse fauna. With its diverse habitats and perennial water supply, the park harbors over 2,000 elephants and hosts more than 500 bird species.

Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, embark on a descent into the crater for an unforgettable crater game tour. Later, journey back to Karatu for an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge. Enjoy provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with daily drinking water per person.
Often hailed as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the largest intact crater globally. Formed around 2 million years ago from the eruption of the Ngorongoro volcano, its collapsed walls created a natural enclosure with towering walls reaching 600 meters. Stretching over 19 kilometers wide, the crater is adorned with vast expanses of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and sprawling grasslands. Within these diverse habitats reside over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, an array of magnificent birdlife, the elusive black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats.

Day 3
Lake Manyara to Dar es Salaam
Lake Manyara to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast today, your safari guide will pick you up for a journey to Lake Manyara National Park, where an exciting game drive awaits. Later, return to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy provided breakfast and lunch, along with daily drinking water per person.
Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large troops of baboons, is a stunning gem. Despite its modest size, the park hosts a remarkable variety of birds and animals. A brief sojourn in this tranquil park promises to enrich your safari adventure, as its lush green jungle habitat stands in stark contrast to the other parks on your itinerary.
