Following breakfast, embark on a descent into the crater for an unforgettable crater game tour. Later, journey back to Karatu for an overnight stay at Octagon Lodge. Enjoy provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with daily drinking water per person.
Often hailed as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the largest intact crater globally. Formed around 2 million years ago from the eruption of the Ngorongoro volcano, its collapsed walls created a natural enclosure with towering walls reaching 600 meters. Stretching over 19 kilometers wide, the crater is adorned with vast expanses of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and sprawling grasslands. Within these diverse habitats reside over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, an array of magnificent birdlife, the elusive black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats.
