Day 1

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) which serves domestic flights, a representative from Ace Tanzania tours will greet you and provide transport to your accommodation in Arusha. You will spend the night at Arusha planet lodge, situated on the outskirts of the city. It is surrounded by a serene environment and a picturesque garden. This peaceful setting will prepare you for the exciting safari adventure that awaits you the next day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire national park

Arusha to Tarangire national park

You will be collected from your accommodation in Arusha by your private safari guide for a journey to Tarangire, which is approximately a 2.5-hour drive away. Tarangire is renowned for its elephant families, expansive savannah, striking baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the vital Tarangire River. The river attracts a variety of animals, including giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Additionally, the park is home to buffalos, zebras, and wildebeests, all of which are closely followed by predators like lions and leopards. Throughout the game drive, you'll have the opportunity to observe the wildlife and absorb the picturesque landscape from the vehicle's open roof.
A delightful picnic lunch with delicious food, coffee, and soft drinks will be provided in the park. Following lunch and an extensive game drive, we will make our way to Eileen trees inn in Karatu where you will enjoy a comfortable dinner and spend the night.

Day 3

Mto Wa Mbu to lake natron

After breakfast, we will drive towards Lake Natron. The wild and remote Lake Natron lies in the northeast of Tanzania between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains. Here, it is the landscape rather than the animals that is the attraction. The area around the lake which is inhabited by the Maasai, is dry, desolate, and hauntingly beautiful.
You will arrive at your accommodation, Africa Safari Lake Natron, in time for lunch. You will visit the base of Africa’s only active volcano, Oldonyo Lengai, followed by a lake walk during sunset. Situated at the base of Oldonyo Lengai (mountain of God), Lake Natron is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. The lake is home to millions of tiny crustaceans, attracting thousands of lesser flamingos, and is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth.

Day 4-5

Lake natron to northern Serengeti national park

After an early breakfast, we will start our activities at Lake Natron which includes visits to some of the most interesting localities such as hot springs, the NgareSero Waterfalls, and much more. After lunch, you will start your drive to Northern Serengeti, arriving at Klein’s gate.
These two days will be special for witnessing the crossing of the great migration at the Mara River. After catching the sunrise, you will go to the Mara River and spend the whole day there, witnessing the crossing of the migration. Later, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Northern Serengeti to central Serengeti

We head out and start to explore at sunrise. We will have a full-day game drive appreciating the beautiful scenery of Northern Serengeti where you will witness the big cats Lion and leopards as well the migration merchant African wildebeest and then spend the rest of the day in Central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight will be at Kon tiki tented camp.

Day 7

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro highland

Today, we will wake up very early for a sunrise game drive and to spot the animals when they are most active. We will stop at a picnic site to enjoy breakfast in the bush and continue with the game drive until lunchtime. We will continue to Ngorongoro where we will have dinner and overnight at Marera valley lodge on the crater rim of Ngorongoro.

Day 8

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Today we will descend the crater in our safari vehicle with our packed breakfast. This stunning place will offer you almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. If we are lucky, we might spot one! Measuring an area of 260 square kilometers and extending about 20 kilometers in diameter, we will need about 5 hours to explore the crater.
After the game drive, you will drive back to Arusha to end your safari.
