1-Day Gombe Chimpanzee Trekking Safari

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Pick up from your Hotel at Kigoma and transfer to Kibirizi 07:30 am arrive at the Port at 0800am, at kibirizi Port you will be transfer to our boat and start safari to Gombe which will take 1-30 minutes to arrive at Gombe. On arrival at the Park you will quickly register for the permit after that you will meet your guide for the day, start the trekking on time.

Besides chimpanzees, primates inhabiting Gombe Stream national park include beachcomber olive baboons, red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and velvet monkeys. Red-tailed monkeys and blue monkeys also hybridize in the area.

The park is also home to over 200 bird specie. There are also many species of snakes, and occasional hippopotami and leopards. Visitors to the park can trek into the forest to view the chimpanzees, as well as swim and snorkel in Lake Tanganyika.

After 7 good hours of trekking and exploring the area you will depart Gombe at 1630 back to kibirizi then transfer to hotel.
