Journey from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha, where you meet your guide and depart by pop-up roof 4x4 towards the famous Serengeti. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands before the landscape opens into the vast plains of the park. En route you enjoy a game drive, with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, antelopes and the first big cats. In the late afternoon you arrive at your Luxury tented camp in or near central Serengeti, where you can relax, enjoy dinner and prepare for the days of adventure ahead.

Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast you head out for a full-day game drive in central Serengeti, an area known for excellent year-round wildlife viewing. Your guide will search for lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as elephants, buffaloes and large herds of plains game. Depending on conditions, you may follow the movements of the herds and stop at scenic spots to enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. In the late afternoon you return to camp to relax by the fire, share stories of the day and enjoy a hearty dinner under the stars.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast you depart the Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor, where you can look for lions, hyenas, buffaloes, hippos and, with luck, the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch in one of the designated sites, you continue your safari before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha, where your three-day adventure comes to an end. At the end of your crater tour, your guide will drive you back to Arusha and drop you off at your preferred location either your hotel or the airport. Additional accommodation after the tour can be arranged on request.
