Pick Up from Kampala and Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

Pick Up from Kampala and Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

Your driver/guide will pick you up from Kampala at 6:00am. You will start the drive to Kidepo Valley National Park with lunch en route at Gulu town. Continue to drive past Kitgum town and be driven through Karamoja land up to Kdepo Valley National Park. The park offers breathtaking savannah landscapes, which end in a rugged horizon. A huge latitudinal range and correspondingly wide climatic conditions have evolved an extremely diverse flora. There are unique birds, like the ostrich, kori bustard, and secretary, with 463 other bird species. Kidepo has species not found anywhere in Uganda, like the bat–eared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf, caracal, and cheetah. While traversing the park, you will encounter sights of lion prides, herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, eland, zebras, and many more. The tour activities at the park begin the next day. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
