Arusha to Ndutu region

Your safari will begin at 8:00 AM with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha, heading toward the Ndutu region. The drive to Ndutu takes approximately 6 hours, covering a distance of about 260 kilometers. Around 3.5 hours into the journey, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the landscape transitions from hilly forests to open plains and lush grasslands.
Upon arrival in Ndutu, you will embark on a half-day game drive, with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch. Sweeping grasslands dominate the region, gradually merging into the Serengeti. Ndutu lies along the path of the Great Migration, where over 2 million wildebeests, along with thousands of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles, journey through the Serengeti ecosystem each year.

Today, you will spend a full day exploring the Ndutu area through game drives. During the calving season, the plains are filled with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. This abundance of prey attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, providing excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your game drives. In the evening, you will return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart from the Ndutu area in the Southern Serengeti ecosystem and transfer to Central Serengeti. Along the way, you will enjoy game viewing as you make your way through the changing landscapes, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the route.

In the afternoon, you will arrive in Central Serengeti, where you will continue with a game drive before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

During your visit, you will also explore the beautiful landscapes and wildlife in the crater. In the late afternoon you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
