The Ngorongoro Crater
We plan to travel from camp early in order to make it to the Ngorongoro Crater on time. After having a picnic lunch, we will head down into the crater for our game drive.
An enormous, uninterrupted caldera created by a volcano's eruption millions of years ago is known as the Ngorongoro Crater. The raised enclosure incentivizes the animals to descend into the crater, increasing the likelihood of seeing all five of the "Big 5". The buffalo, lion, rhino, elephant, and leopard make up this formidable bunch. Other animals that you might see are hyenas, zebras, hippos, and wildebeest. On the banks of Soda Lake, flamingos gently relax while vultures are scavenging for a predator's dropped prey. Among them are storks and geese. Your trip will come to an end in the late afternoon when we will proceed to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or to the Airport.
