Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00am. Our professional tour guide, dressed in their tour uniform, will introduce themselves and brief you on your safari. After the briefing, you will depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey that takes about 5-6 hours. Along the way, enjoy a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, known as the escarpment, for a short photo session. Continue southwards and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.

After a delicious meal, relax and prepare for an afternoon visit to a Maasai village starting at 3:00pm. This cultural experience is a highlight for travelers in Kenya, offering insight into the Maasai's fascinating traditions, colorful garments, pastoral lifestyles, and impressive high jumps. After the visit, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at 6:30am, you’ll depart from the lodge at 7:00am with a packed lunch in hand for a full-day game drive. Whether you are a game lover or ornithologist, Masai Mara never disappoints.

With over 450 species of birds recorded here, there is much to see. You will also encounter ostriches, cormorants, grebes, and storks, among others. Resident mammals include rhinos, leopards, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, jackals, lions, hippos, many species of antelopes, crocodiles, and giraffes.

Later, you will have a chance to visit the border between Kenya and Tanzania for a small photo session. Enjoy your picnic lunch beside the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos share a home. After lunch, continue exploring the park as you learn about the Mara River.

Later you’ll return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
