After breakfast, we set out from Karatu towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Crossing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, we reach the Ndutu Area where our day's game drive begins, focusing on the mesmerizing great migration.
Between December and April, the herds of the great migration gather near Lake Ndutu, nestled between Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Here, they find ample fresh food, though they must navigate past lurking predators. With the arrival of January comes the start of the wildebeests' calving season, adding a new dimension to this incredible natural spectacle.
