Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Around midday, enjoy your lunch at the crater's base. Ngorongoro is recognized as one of the eight Wonders of the World, and the crater is a vital sanctuary for a wide range of wildlife.

You will likely spot large elephant bulls and the vulnerable black rhino. The crater is also home to substantial herds of wildebeest and zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and nearly 400 bird species.

After completing your afternoon game drive, head back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Mvuli Hotel.

Here, relish a traditional Chagga lunch, accompanied by the opportunity to sample our local banana beer.
