Zanzibar to Arusha

Your adventure begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your Charity hotel where you can rest and prepare for the upcoming hike. Use this day to acclimatize to the altitude, check your hiking gear, and get a good night’s sleep for the hike the next day. On this day you have the option to do a city tour where you will learn about the life style and get to know the peoples of arusha.

Arusha-Kilimanjaro-Arusha

After an early breakfast, you’ll be driven to the Marangu Gate of Kilimanjaro National Park, the starting point of your hike. The hike to Mandara Hut is approximately 8 kilometers and takes about 4 to 5 hours. You’ll trek through the fascinating rainforest of Kilimanjaro, enjoying the lush scenery and diverse wildlife. Upon reaching Mandara Hut, take some time to rest and enjoy a packed lunch while soaking in the stunning views. After lunch, you’ll begin your descent back to Marangu Gate. From there, you’ll be driven back to Arusha, marking the end of your 2-day Kilimanjaro adventure.
