Arusha to Lake Manyara

Embark on a full-day game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, departing from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM with a picnic lunch. Traverse lush Acacia and Mahogany forests, keeping an eye out for buffalo, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. With luck, spot the elusive tree-climbing lions. In the right season, witness the shores turn pink with flamingos. After the drive, return to your camp/lodge for a delightful dinner.

Transfer to Ndutu

Starting at 7:00 AM, we journey towards the Ndutu region, a 4-hour drive from Tarangire or 2.5 hours from Karatu. Amidst sweeping grasslands merging into the Serengeti, Ndutu hosts the annual migration of over 2 million wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and gazelles between December and April. Witness calving between mid-January and February, attracting predators. Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek offer abundant wildlife during the dry season, with Ndutu being home to 6 species of big cats. After an exhilarating game drive until around 6:00 PM, retire to your chosen accommodation for a delectable dinner and rest for the next day's adventures.

Today offers a full day to explore Ndutu. Depart after a relaxed breakfast for a full-day game drive at 8:00 AM, returning to the lodge by late afternoon around 5:30 PM with packed lunch boxes. Alternatively, set out on an early morning game drive at 6:20 AM after breakfast, returning around 10:30 AM to relax. Enjoy a hot lunch at the accommodation, then depart for afternoon game drives at 3:00 PM, returning by 6:00 PM. Rest well to prepare for another exciting day ahead.

Today you get another chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle at Ndutu. We start early in the day and after breakfast, depart for game drives around 6:20 AM with packed lunch. We continue with game drives till around 3:00 PM in the afternoon and then proceed towards our selected accommodation in Ngorongoro or Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

On your final safari day, you'll start early with a quick breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera. Enjoy a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, witnessing abundant wildlife including elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo pool, ascend steeply to the crater's top exit. This marks the conclusion of your safari, with a 4-hour drive back to Arusha. You'll be dropped off at your preferred location by 5:00 PM, bidding farewell to your team with unforgettable memories.
