Pick up from your guest house in Entebbe/Kampala, have a short briefing about your safari and drive to the western region of Uganda that’s rich in culture, famous for the Ankole long horned cattle and the most energetic, hardworking Kiga people that inhabit the Kigezi hills. Throughout this long drive, we will have several interesting stops with a hot lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the forest.

Ultimate gorilla tracking in the mist
After your early breakfast (7:00am), you will have short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 Pax, you will be led by the armed ranger guides off the forest to search for the gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. After gorilla tracking, we drive to lake Bunyonyi for a night on the terraces of lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer from lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe
After your early breakfast, we will depart from lake Bunyonyi (08:00hrs Departure time) as we head to the central part of Uganda. This is a long drive with over 9 hours however it is action packed with a lot of scenic and photographic stops en route. We will have our hot lunch in Mbarara and later embark on the journey to the equator where we will pause for few minutes to take some photos. Drop off in Entebbe or airport in case you have a flight the same day. End of the tour.
