You will start your tour early in the morning. The driver will pick you up from the hotel or airport in Kigali and tell you about the tour. He will drive you from Kigali to Bukavu town in Congo. It will take 6 hours to get to Bukavu town where you will spend the night. You will have dinner and sleep at a nice lodge or hotel.

Day 2
Eastern Lowland Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park – Congo
Eastern Lowland Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park – Congo
You will have breakfast early in the morning. Your guide will drive you to the Park Headquarters. You will join other people for briefing before going into the Kahuzi Biega forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can be short or long depending on where the gorilla family you are trekking is. It can take from 1 to 4 hours. When you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. You will watch their behavior, take photos, and feel their presence. You will be amazed by their size, strength, and intelligence. You will not regret the safari effort once you meet these incredible gorillas. Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to your lodge.

Departure to Kigali to End the tour
Departure to Kigali to End the tour
You will have breakfast at your lodge or hotel. You will be driven back to Kigali. You can choose to stay in Kigali or fly out of Kigali on the last day of your tour. You will use the same way back. You will have another stop at the Rwanda-Congo border. You can take photos, buy souvenirs, or just relax before going to Kigali.
