Day 1

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our driver-guide will pick you up from Kigali, and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You'll make a quick stopover in Kabale town for lunch. Later, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will check in the lodge, have dinner later in the evening, and sleep to prepare for the next day.

Day 2

After an early morning breakfast, with your packed lunch and drinking water, your driver-guide will drive you to Rushaga Park Headquarters for briefing at about 7:30 am. Your ranger guides will lead you through the thick creepers and undergrowth as you trek to find the gorillas. The steep landscape is incredibly dense but characterized by many animal trails allowing access to tourists. The amount of time you take during the trek entirely depends on the movement of the gorillas. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered creatures.

Day 3

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park situated in Western Uganda arriving in time for lunch at Buffalo Safari Lodge. After, lunch, you will have a moment to relax before you proceed for an evening game drive in the savannah plains of Kasenyi. At the Kasenyi plains, you will sport herds of buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes, and some big cats such as lions and leopards can be spotted based on the luck of the day. You will return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Morning Game and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

On this day, you will head back to the plains of Kasenyi for yet another morning game drive to try and find what you could have missed during the previous game drive. You'll go for lunch at the lodge.
After lunch, you will head to the jetty along the Kazinga Channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances to view animals like hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and many species of water birds.
