Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to relax and unwind at the hotel after your journey, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and preparing for the adventure ahead.
If time allows and you’re feeling up for it, you can opt for a free guided town tour of Arusha. This offers a chance to experience the local culture, visit vibrant markets, interact with locals, and get a feel for daily life in this lively safari hub. It’s a great introduction to Tanzania before heading out into the wilderness.

The surrounding landscape, with its seasonal lake and dramatic escarpments, adds to the experience.
After spending time exploring the area and enjoying the cultural encounters, the journey continues back to Arusha. The drive takes you through beautiful countryside and local villages, arriving in the late evening to mark the end of the safari adventure.
