Your safari begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, your professional guide will meet you and drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire also offers sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 400 bird species. The Tarangire River is a lifeline for wildlife, especially in the dry season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your game drive until evening before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2
Tarangire/ Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and journey through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours, but it is filled with spectacular scenery and game viewing opportunities along the way.
Upon reaching Serengeti, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seronera region, renowned for its dense predator population. Here you have excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The Serengeti is also home to thousands of grazing animals, including wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras, making it one of the best safari destinations in the world.
As the sun sets over the savannah, you will head to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, immersed in the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, one of the best times to witness predators on the hunt. The golden morning light offers perfect photographic opportunities as you watch wildlife come to life. After a bush breakfast or brunch at camp, you will begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Driving through the Serengeti plains, you may encounter giraffes, elephants, hyenas, and countless antelopes. You will also have the option to stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience, where you can interact with the Maasai people and learn about their traditions and way of life.
Later in the afternoon, you will arrive at a lodge situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering stunning views into the caldera below. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over 25,000 animals. It is one of the few places where you can see the endangered black rhino in its natural habitat. Other animals include elephants, hippos, lions, buffalo, and abundant birdlife around Lake Magadi.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending back to the rim. In the afternoon, your guide will transfer you back to Arusha, where you will connect with your evening flight to Zanzibar. This marks the end of your incredible 4-day Tanzania safari experience, returning to the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar.
