4-Day Masai Mara Budget Holiday

Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from a confirmed point either hotel or the airport and transferred to the departure point where you will start your safari. The safari starts at around 8:00 am with two stopovers one at the viewpoint to witness the Rift Valley and the other at Narok town for the final shopping. You'll proceed to Maasai Mara Miti Mingi Eco camp in time for lunch. Later, you'll proceed for an introductory game drive where you familiarize yourself with the park surroundings, spot a few animals, and witness the sunset. This marks the first day of your five days of Mara, Nakuru, and Naivasha safari. You will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up very early and have your breakfast then proceed to the reserve. By 6:30 am you should be entering the park to maximize the full-day safari as well as get a chance to witness the sunrise which is so beautiful and refreshing. During the full-day game drive, you have an option of seeing all the Big Five that is buffalos, leopards, lions, and elephants as well as other small and large animals such as the topi, antelopes, and wildebeest. From June to October, you can have the opportunity to witness the great wild beast migration which happens once a year and is a phenomenal sight to see. You will have your picnic lunch at the Mara River where the migration takes place and have an opportunity to see the hippos and the crocodiles as they laze around the river. You will later go to the Kenya-Tanzania border as you continue with game viewing till the sun sets. You will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will wake up to another day filled with adventure. After your breakfast, you will head out for the Masai Mara National Reserve, witness the sunrise, and spot animals as they wake up. Masai Mara is a beauty to behold during sunrise and sunset due to its beautiful vast savannah grassland. You have another opportunity of spotting game that you did not spot the previous day as well as being able to visit areas you might not have visited the previous day. You will have your lunch at Mara River in the company of notorious monkeys. Later, you will continue with the game viewing till sunset and return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara-Nairobi

You will wake up a bit relaxed after the full-day safari and have your breakfast. You will check out of your rooms and go for the Maasai village experience to learn about their culture as well as see them dance and listen to their songs. They teach you how to light a fire without using matches. Later, you will leave Masai Mara region for Nairobi arriving there in the afternoon.
