Day 1

Your safari in Uganda will begin when you depart Entebbe and head northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a hot lunch en-route at Kabalega Dinners and then prepare yourself for breathtaking scenery and a short nature walk in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. The guided nature walk in the sanctuary brings you up close with the endangered white rhinos. In the evening you will arrive at the park and then make your way to the Gipri and Labongo Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

You will have breakfast at 6am and then at 6:30 am, head out for an early morning game drive. You will drive through the northern bank of the park in search of various animals including Elephants, Buffaloes, Bushbucks, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Hartebeests and a variety of bird species. You will go for Lunch at 12:00 pm and then at 1:00 pm, drive to Nile for a two-hour launch cruise on the Nile up to the substructure of the Murchison Falls. Along the banks of the river, you may have an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles and water birds. After the boat, you will go back to the Lodge for relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge. Overnight and dinner at your Lodge.

Day 3

Transfer from Murchison National Park to Kibale

Your driver guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Kibale as you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscapes, traditional homes and catch glimpses of the different striking bird species. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort portal town – the tourism capital of Uganda because of the beautiful landscapes and attractions. You will arrive at your lodging for the night in the Crater lakes region.

Your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing place right after breakfast, he will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek.
You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.
In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi village. You have opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and will be of great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience, banana bear making, busked making and traditional healer. Then after you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Take breakfast and then go on an early game drive in the north of the park, where you might spot to spot Uganda kobs, elephants and lions. After lunch you will go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where many species of wildlife gather to drink water. You will have a good chance of seeing African elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, antelopes, and various indigenous and migratory birds. Return to Tembo Safari Lodge for relaxation, dinner and your overnight stay.

After an early Breakfast you shall check out of the Lodge and head to Bwindi impenetrable forest, via Inshasha sector of Queen Elizabeth, then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest famously known for the rare Mountain Gorillas and primate life in this forest is quite fantastic, and there is an incredible variety of flora and fauna too. This forest also holds 348 bird species thus known for being a bird watchers haven. You will have a lunch stop and then head on straight to the destination, dinner and overnight stay.

After your breakfast, ready with your packed lunch and drinking water since long hours will be spent in search of these giants, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-gorilla tracking briefing at 8am. After briefing, the rangers will then lead you into the forest to track these gentle giants the Mountain gorillas. Experience the thrill of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other, you are allowed an hour witnessing of the interaction of these close relatives to human, there after you proceed to Kabale Bunyonyi for Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your hotel you will start your adventure at Lake Bunyonyi one of the deepest lakes in Africa. You will go for a boat ride This is serpentine shaped lake fine for swimming and is bilharzia free. It also overlooks the beautiful Kigezi highlands. The lake has many islands such as Bushara, Punishment and Bwama islands. We take a boat trip on the lake discover these islands Its a good place for relaxation and taking photos of western Uganda. Return to Bird Nest Hotel for lunch. Then after lunch you will be transferred to Lake Mburo check in to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
