Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, we set off for the final destination of this epic safari: Lake Manyara National Park. Though relatively small, this remarkably diverse park lies about 120 km west of Arusha and takes its name from the shallow soda lake that covers nearly seventy percent of its surface area. Rising and receding with the seasons, the lake attracts thousands of flamingos and supports more than 500 other bird species.

As we explore the park, we encounter an impressive array of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and elephants—and, with a bit of luck, lions relaxing in the branches of acacia trees.

After a final, unforgettable game drive, our adventure comes to an end as we return to Arusha in the late afternoon, carrying with us memories and images of the African wilderness that will last a lifetime.
