Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After enjoying breakfast, your safari adventure begins with a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. You will marvel at the large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, and experience the abundance of wildlife near the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch with a stunning view awaits before resuming your game viewing. Later, you will head to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti. A long and bumpy road will take you to about 4 to 5 hours of fascinating game on route, driving up the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti. You will stop for a picnic lunch at the Serengeti, Naabi Hill Gate, before you check into the park for an afternoon drive. After catching the sunset, you will proceed to Signature Serengeti Luxury Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Activities: You can visit the Maasai villages along the way in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. However, this experience might be a bit commercial for some travelers.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Today, you will wake up very early in the morning for a sunrise game drive. The sunrise in the African savanna is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. Also, animals are mostly active in the morning. You will continue with the game drive until lunchtime. Later, you will exit the park in the afternoon, then drive to Ngorongoro Ang’ata Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will get in the safari vehicle at 6 am and descend to the crater with our packed breakfast and lunch. This stunning place will offer you almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino, and if you are lucky, you might spot one. Measuring an area of 260 square kilometres and extending about 20km in diameter, we will probably need 5 to 6 hours to explore it. Later, you will drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
