Tsavo East t Tsavo West

Following a hearty breakfast, our journey continues as we set out once again in search of both predators and herbivores. A highlight of our adventure awaits at Mudanda Rock, a majestic geological formation resembling the back of a whale, creating a natural dam. This unique watering hole serves as a magnet for elephants and other creatures seeking respite in this rugged and untamed wilderness.
Subsequently, we'll embark on a brief drive to the neighbouring Tsavo West, turning our transit into yet another thrilling game drive as we transition between parks in pursuit of the renowned "Big Five" and other fascinating wildlife.
Our exploration of Tsavo West National Park includes a visit to a remarkable site - the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Spanning an area of 70 square kilometres (27 square miles), this protected sanctuary is home to approximately 80 black rhinos, offering a rare opportunity to observe these magnificent yet elusive creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 3

Tsavo West to Mombasa

Tsavo West to Mombasa

Once more, we'll rise with the sun to seize the day, embarking on an early morning exploration of the park, both for ourselves and the wildlife. Together, we'll relish in the breathtaking transformation of the landscape as the sun's rays dispel the morning dew, painting the land with vibrant hues.
After breakfast, we'll head to Mzima Springs. This hidden gem serves as an oasis in the heart of the wilderness, nourished by crystalline waters that sustain a rich diversity of aquatic and terrestrial life. The verdant foliage surrounding the springs stands in stark contrast to the rugged terrain of the park, offering a refreshing and picturesque retreat.

As the afternoon approaches, it's time to head back to the Kenya coast. We'll have you back at your resort or hotel by late afternoon or early evening, and if needed, we can also take you to the Mombasa airport. Our 3-day safari has been full of memorable experiences, and we look forward to hearing your stories and seeing your photos.
