Nairobi to Masai Mara

0730 hrs: Drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret, and the Pyrethrum plantations.
Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch at Manyatta Tented Camp.
1530 hrs- go for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

July - October is usually the best time to tour the Mara, as you may witness part of the annual migration drama when of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Hot on their heels are the predators of the savannah: lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Masai Mara

Breakfast at the camp. At 0830 hours, proceed on a full day game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with a packed lunch. At 1600 hrs, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see the Big Five—lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard, and elephant—and, not to mention, numerous plain animals.
