As the sun rises, we will gather for a delightful breakfast between 7 and 7:30am. Following this, we will venture out to the enchanting mabamba wetland, a haven renowned for its rare and majestic shoebill stork. Witnessing this prehistoric bird in its natural environment is truly captivating. The stork's graceful stillness as it patiently waits for its prey before striking with lightning speed is a sight to behold.
After our exploration, we will return to our accommodation for a delicious lunch before journeying to Lake Mburo National Park for an overnight stay.

Begin your day with a delightful early breakfast before embarking on a morning nature park walk at Lake Mburo. Accompanied by an armed UWA ranger guide, you will have the opportunity to witness giraffes, elands, defassa waterbucks, topis, and cape buffaloes, among other wildlife. The guided walk will take you along a trail to the top of the hills, offering a breathtaking view of Lake Mburo and the surrounding lakes. After your walk, return to your accommodation for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon and evening, enjoy a relaxing 2-hour boat ride where you can observe a variety of bird species and animals such as hippos.

Today, if you are looking for a way to spend your day, you have a variety of exciting options to choose from. You could embark on a historical islands tour, visit the batwa community, explore the nyombe swamp, go on an excursion, enjoy mountain bike cycling, try out zip lining, or experience canoeing or kayaking on the lake. These activities can be arranged on site with the assistance of your driver guide, for an additional cost. Afterwards, we will journey to Kisoro and unwind at the tranquil Lake Mutanda Resort for the evening.

Following our morning meal, we embarked on a journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for an exciting golden monkey tracking experience. These rare creatures, with only a limited population left in the world, can be spotted on the lower slopes of the volcanic mountains of Mgahinga. Known for their vibrant golden fur on their bodies, cheeks, and tails, the golden monkeys are a delightful sight to behold. After the tracking adventure, we will make our way back to our lodging at Lake Mutanda where you can unwind and enjoy some leisure time, perhaps by taking a relaxing canoe ride.

Following our morning meal, we set out on a journey towards the eastern region near the border of Uganda and Congo, traversing the stunning terrain of the rift valley. Semliki National Park, a remote and secluded gem of Uganda, awaits our exploration. Nestled within the park lies the remarkable Sempaya Hot Springs, the hottest in the country. We plan to embark on a leisurely stroll to visit both the male and female hot springs, taking the time to observe the fascinating geysers and learn about their unique formation. Afterwards, we will make our way back to our accommodation at Kibale National Park, where we can unwind and rest after a day of discovery.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Kibale National Park, home to the highest number of primate species in the world. Among them, the wild chimpanzees of Uganda are a highlight, making it the perfect place for spotting these fascinating creatures. An experienced ranger will lead you on a chimp tracking adventure in the morning, starting with a briefing at 8:00 am on the rules of trekking the chimps. Once in the forest, you will search for the chimpanzees and once found, you will have a full hour to observe and interact with them. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a Bigodi wetland excursion. The wetland is teeming with biodiversity, including various primate species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. Keep an eye out for the majestic great blue turaco, among other bird species in the area.

Following an early morning meal, you will travel to Murchison Falls National Park through the southern entrance, spending the night in the northern area of the park. During the journey, you will stop by the magnificent waterfall, a key feature of the park where the Nile River encounters a 7m crevice. The majority of wildlife can be found in the northern region of the park, after crossing the river. Take in the sights of the animals as we make our way to the lodge, where you can unwind until dinner and your overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a morning wildlife safari in Uganda's biggest national park. Keep an eye out for animals and birds as you explore the vast plains. Return to your lodge for a break and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. For the adventurous, there's an option to hike to the top of the falls, which is challenging but rewarding. Head back to your accommodation afterwards to unwind and rest.
