Your Safari starts with a very early pickup at the hotel by your personal safari guide.
You will receive a quick briefing about the upcoming days and what you can expect in during a Migration Safari at Serengeti.
It's literally the only place in the world where you can watch millions of wildebeest constantly migrate, hunting for water and fresh grass.
They will be accompanied by herds of Zebras, Gazelles and Elands which automatically also tempt predators to follow them on their way through the endless plains of the Nationalpark.
Also bird enthusiasts will enjoy Serengeti as it hosts more than 550 different species of birds.
Your Gamedrive will stop for a picnic lunch before you will go on, exploring the park deeper for the entire afternoon.
Towards the evening, you will be dropped-off in your first Camp, where you will spend the Night.
Before you can enjoy the free evening, your guide will inform you about the next days pick-up time.

Full Day at Serengeti
Today you will get up very early, to make the most out of the day.
Your guide will pick you up after breakfast to bring you to the best spot to watch unbelievable big herds migrating.
From July to September for example, you could even spend hours nearby the Mara River and wait for the rare chance to watch the animals cross the river.
Here, they are not only threatened by wildcats, since also crocodiles know when the time is right to hunt.
This is one of the most unique happenings you could experience on a Safari and is absolutely worth the wait, which can sometimes take hours.
Lunch will be held in the car and the rest of the day will either be close to the herds or in nearby areas watching out for a lion prides or leopards in the trees.
After a full day of watching wildlife in the park, you will move on to your migration camp for dinner before you join a sundown ceremony and a campfire after dinner with some fellow adventurers.

Full Day at Serengeti
Your third day in Serengeti is planned just like the one before.
Depending on your previous luck, to have witnessed all the highlights of the Great Migration already, you could also ask your guide to show you different areas and try to spot all of the Big 5.
This Park has endless things to offer, so that there will always be new things to see and learn.
After another long day, you will return to your camp to enjoy a nice dinner and cool drinks, while planning the following day as there is a long drive ahead of you.

Serengeti to Karatu
Todays wake-up call will be very early. Your gamedrive will head towards the exit gate, as you will have to make it all the way back to the Ngorongoro Crater.
On your way there, you have the chance to stop by at the monument of 'Olduvai Gorge', which represents one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world.
You will enjoy your lunch at the viewpoint of Ngorongoro Crater from where you will witness the breathtakning scenery of the Caldera, developed from an erupted vulcano, which once was even higher than Kilimanjaro.
The huge salt lake in the middle completes the unique ecosystem.
After Lunch you will continue the drive towards Karatu Town. On the way, you could pass by the African Galleria to buy some traditional souveniers like the famous animal carvings from ebony, before your guide will inform you about the next days schedule.
Dinner will be served in your Lodge and the evening can be spent watching some traditional performances by local artists with some cool drinks.

Karatu to Tarangire via Ngorongoro
Today is a day with two whole different kinds of game drives.
At first, you will finally descend into the crater where you will have the chance to find Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Leopards and many other rare animal species.
If you haven't seen all of the Big 5 yet. Here you will get a big chance to finally complete them.
After enjoying Lunch at a picnic site in the crater, you will continue your gamedrive towards the exit gate and into direction Tarangire Nationalpark, as the day is not finished yet.
You will enter the park, check in to your Lodge and get ready for a night gamedrive, where you will experience a whole different behaviour of the animals, especially of the wildcats. Those are much more active and with a bit of luck you can even watch them hunting.
As this was a long day, you will return to the lodge and overnight right in the park, so that you can have a longer rest on the next morning, where you will discover Tarangire by daytime.

Tarangire to Arusha
After a good rest you will be picked up and taken on a full day gamedrive through Tarangire.
Tarangire hosts one of the biggest elephant populations in Africa and the herds can count up to 300 animals. But its also famous for its countless Baobabtrees that can live up to 600 years.
Next to some black Rhinos, which can be seens once in a while, there is a great number of Leopards, Lions, Cheetahs and more Predators which all co-exist along the permanent Tarangire River, after which the Park was named.
Also bird enthusiasts will enjoy this park as it hosts more than 500 different species of birds.
Your Gamedrive will bring you deep into the Nationalpark where you will stop for a picnic lunch before you will continue your safari towards the exit gate and make your way to Arusha.

To start your last day your guide will bring you to the nearby Arusha Nationalpark.
The park is known as the diamond amid the shadows of the giants Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.
However, Arusha Nationalpark still has a lot to offer.
You'll watch Buffalos, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants and many more animals in front of the background of Mount Meru which creates an unbelievable scenery. When there is clear weather, you can even see Mount Kilimanjaro in the far.
This is not the only great photo opportunity. Also the Fig Tree Arch, a giant tree with an arch big enough for a grown elephant to pass through, is worth to capture.
After a morning gamedrive, passing by the 7 Momela Lakes with it's impeccable birdlife, you will enjoy a last picnic lunch before you will end your safari journey with a walking safari in the afternoon. An exciting activity to end up.
An armed ranger will guide you through the bush where you can say goodbye one more time to tanzanias wildlife by foot.
