Ngorongoro Crater Gamedrive
Early in the morning after chowing down the most important meal of the day, you'll be driven to Ngorongoro Crater for Gamedrive. Ngorongoro Crater is highly considered the Safari highlight by many due to its stunning landscape and wildlife found inside the Crater. It was formed over 2.5 million years ago, when a large mountain collapsed on itself, forming a big Caldera. The Crater's walls are over 600 meters up high and cover a whopping area of 260 km square, making it the world's largest unfilled and unbroken Caldera. Adding to this awesomeness is an incredible array of wildlife and bird species that call this place home. Here you can see all of the famous Africa's Big Five animals, including the rare and hard-to-find Black Rhinos, birds such as lesser flamingoes spread across Lake Magadi in big numbers, during the wet seasons.
