Tarangire National Park

Our guide will pick you at your hotel around 7:30 am. After a short briefing the 2 hours' drive will begin. As you approach Tarangire National Park, the landscape transforms. The Maasai Steppe stretches to the southeast, while the shimmering lakes of the Great Rift Valley beckon from the north.

Upon arrival, the game drive begins. The big four lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros—await your discovery. Yet, it’s the elephants that steal the show. Their majestic presence and sheer numbers leave you in awe. At lunch time you will find a picnic spot by acacia trees and the distant call of birds, as you savor a picnic lunch.

The afternoon game drive continues. Dust swirls as your vehicle traverses the savannah. Giraffes stretch their necks to nibble on treetop leaves, while zebras graze peacefully. The sun begins its descent, casting a warm glow over the land.

As evening approaches, you will begin the journey to your hotel in Karatu for dinner, and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

On this second day, after breakfast you will join your guide for the exciting journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Brace yourself for a breathtaking descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a colossal natural wonder often referred to as Africa's Eden.

Imagine witnessing a staggering 25,000 wild animals roaming freely within the caldera walls. Be on the look out for the coveted Big Five – lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos. This unrivalled wildlife spectacle unfolds amidst stunning scenery, where lion prides reign supreme, boasting some of the highest concentrations on Earth.

At around 1.00 PM you will have a picnic lunch nestled amidst this awe-inspiring backdrop. As the afternoon unfolds, ascend the crater rim and embark on a scenic return journey to Arusha or the airport, carrying unforgettable memories of Ngorongoro's wonders.
