Pick Up, Kigali City Tour & Transfer to the Hotel

Depending on your landing time at the airport, our English/French-speaking staff/driver-guide will come to pick you up from the airport. He will drive you for the Kigali City tour, where you will get a chance to explore and visit different sites of the city, such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the biggest local market in Kigali called Kimironko, Nyamirambo, where Kigali as a capital started, and many more interesting sites for travelers. After that, a Lion Safaris driver guide will choose the best restaurant in the city to have lunch. After enjoying lunch, you'll be driven to your booked hotel and check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Akagera National Park

You will wake up in the morning, then have your breakfast. After that, our driver-guide will come to pick you up and then drive you to the Eastern province of Rwanda, where Akagera National Park is located. On arrival, you will register at the park reception, then continue with check-in at your booked hotel and get lunch. After lunch, the driver-guide will take you on the afternoon game drive to enjoy some animals in the south of the park, zebras, antelopes, buffalo, and birds. Later, you will be driven to the biggest lake in the park, called Ihema, to attend the best boat trip tour called sunset. You will get a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and many waterbird species. Afterwards, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-day Game Drive at Akagera National Park

After breakfast at your booked lodge, a Lion Safaris driver-guide will come to pick you up. He will drive you on a full-day game drive. Here, you will get a chance to see lots of wild animals, including giraffes, elephants, lions, buffalo, antelopes of different types, birds, zebras, and many more. While you will be enjoying animals, the Lion Safaris driver guide will show you the best point to have lunch. After lunch, you will continue your visit back to the lodge and check in again for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

You will wake up in the morning, then have your late breakfast. You will check out, then a Lion Safaris driver-guide will come to pick you up and drive you to the southwest province of Rwanda, passing through Kigali, heading to Nyungwe National Park. On arrival in Kigali capital of Rwanda, you will stop for lunch, then continue the journey all the way to Nyungwe National Park and check in to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park

You will wake up and get your early morning breakfast. Then, with your packed lunch from the lodge, our driver-guide will come to pick you up and then drive you to the boundary of Nyungwe Forest in where you will jump in with a local guide to trek chimps. On arrival in the chimpanzees' family, you will be given some time to observe them, take as many photos as you can. After that special enjoyment, you will come back to the driver-guide, who will drive you back to your booked lodge, then wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Canopy Walk Away Trip

You will wake up, then get your late breakfast, then a Lion Safaris driver will come to pick you up and drive you to the park reception, where the canopy starts. A local guide will pick you up to go with you for the activity. You'll get a good moment to enjoy the canopy. Then, you'll go back to the guide who will drive you back to the lodge for an afternoon of leisure and wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive back to Kigali

You will wake up in the morning and get your breakfast. After that, you will check out, then our driver-guide will come to pick you up and take you back to the capital of Rwanda, named Kigali, where, depending on your flight time, you will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel/home.

Depending on your flight time, you can stop by the Rwanda King's Palace Museum, which preserves the history on your way back to Kigali.
