Day 1

Zanzibar to Mikumi and Game Drive

Zanzibar to Mikumi and Game Drive

You'll be picked up from the airport or hotel and transferred to the ferry for a fast boat to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will board a luxury Alphard transfer car and drive to Mikumi National Park (approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes). You'll stop in Morogoro town for lunch.

On arrival at Mikumi National Park, you will start with an afternoon to evening game drive in an open safari Jeep until sunset. Then, you will drive to your accommodation, Mikumi Bandaz, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Zanzibar

Morning Game Drive and Zanzibar

You will go on an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, where you can see active animals early and an amazing sunrise. Drive back to your cottage for a late breakfast at 10h00, and then drive back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival, you will take a booked ferry to Zanzibar or the airport for your flight home.
