Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Welcome to Africa. You will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali or at Kigali International Airport by your driver guide, who will brief you about the trip and then have a short city tour that will let you visit the Kimironko Market, Convention Center, and Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. Then, you'll continue on a 3-hour journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check in at the lodge and then have a community walk that shall immerse you in the rich and vibrant cultures of the Batwa people, the indigenous inhabitants of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Later, you'll go walk back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation

You will have an early breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do's and don’ts of gorilla trekking. The rangers will lead you to the misty jungle forest in search of the incredible mountain gorillas.

You will also enjoy the unique flora and incredible fauna of this park. You'll enjoy the magical views of the awesome gorillas as they feed, play, groom, and roam around the forest, as you take photos of a lifetime experience. After meeting and spending ample time with these gentle giants, you will go back to the lodge for a late lunch.

You'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening. Later, you'll check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer back to Kigali

You'll have an early breakfast before you explore the islands on this lake and enjoy some breathtaking views as well as beautiful birds. Immediately after this, you will proceed with your departure back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon. Your guide will either drop you off at any hotel or at the airport to catch your flight.
