Tarangire National Park

We depart Arusha early for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape that looks like it belongs in a prehistoric era.

Dominated by massive Baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, this park is the "Elephant Capital" of the north. You'll spend the day exploring the riverbanks where predators and prey congregate.
After a sunset game drive, we head to a lodge in the Karatu highlands, perfectly positioned for an early start at the Crater the next morning.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha(Airport & depart)

Wake up early for a delicious breakfast and depart at 7:00 am from your accommodation. We descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater at dawn, entering a world that feels frozen in time.

This volcanic caldera is a self-contained ecosystem with over 30,000 animals. Because the walls are so steep, the wildlife viewing here is incredibly concentrated.
This is your best chance to spot the Black Rhino. You will also see massive "tusker" elephants, prides of lions, and thousands of flamingos on Lake Magadi.
A morning game drive followed by a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool.

In the afternoon, we ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for your evening flight or hotel drop-off.
