After breakfast, set out on a city tour of Kampala. Highlights include the Kasubi Tombs, Kibuli Mosque, Namirembe Cathedral, and the Buganda Kingdom Palace (Bulange), along with other sites of cultural interest. In the evening, visit the Ndere Cultural Centre for a lively performance that offers a warm welcome to the "Pearl of Africa."

Day 3

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will be driven to Jinja for a thrilling white-water rafting experience. The excursion can be either a full-day or half-day adventure, depending on your preference. Regarded as one of the most exciting rafting trips in the world, it covers up to 31km (19mi) of the Nile River and includes a fantastic barbecue lunch with complimentary drinks to celebrate after the trip.

Day 4
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Your day begins with a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, located northwest of Jinja. The journey takes approximately 8–9 hours, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. From Ziwa, you will continue to Masindi town for lunch.
After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and stop at the top of the falls, where you will witness the Nile's beauty at its most dramatic. Here, the river squeezes from a width of 50m (164ft) into a narrow 7m (23ft) canyon, creating the thunderous waterfall after which the park is named.
From here, continue to your accommodation within the park, where you will spend the night.

Day 5

Early in the morning, your guide will take you on a wildlife safari game drive along the northern bank of the Nile River. Here, you may encounter elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild's giraffes, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyenas, and, if you are lucky, a leopard.
Return to your lodge for breakfast, relax, and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon boat cruise. This cruise takes you upstream on the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, stopping just a few metres/feet from the "Devil's Cauldron." Along the way, watch hippos wallowing in the water, crocodiles basking on the banks, and elephants, waterbuck and Uganda kob grazing nearby, all during this 19km (12mi) stretch of the Nile.
For birdwatchers, the cruise offers excellent opportunities to spot species such as the Goliath heron, Egyptian goose and many others. After the cruise, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6
Drive to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Kibale National Park via Hoima and Fort Portal. The journey takes approximately 6 hours and offers views of rolling landscapes, lush green countryside, traditional homesteads and vast tea plantations along the way.
Stop in Fort Portal for lunch before continuing to your accommodation, where you can relax and prepare for the next day's activities.

Day 7

After an early breakfast, your driver/guide will transfer you to the Kibale National Park offices for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. You will then set out on a guided primate walk in search of chimpanzees and up to 12 other primate species, including L'Hoest's monkeys, red colobus, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, olive baboons, grey-cheeked mangabeys and vervet monkeys.
Along the way, park rangers will share insights not only about the primates but also about the rich forest flora and fauna, ensuring an informative and enjoyable experience. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will spend 1 hour with them in their natural habitat before returning to the park offices.
Head back to the lodge for lunch and refreshments. In the afternoon, visit the local community and take a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp, home to around 200 bird species — including the spectacular great blue turaco — and 8 primate species. Later, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, begin the day with a cultural tour of the Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru caves, a historic site located about 10km (6mi) from Fort Portal town. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will share the history and legends of the caves with you. Be sure to bring a flashlight, hiking boots and long trousers as you will be entering the caves.
Afterward, enjoy a hike around the nearby explosion crater lakes before returning to Fort Portal for lunch and a visit to the Tooro Kingdom Palace.
In the evening, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest park, while taking in the ever-changing views of the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges, which rise to 5,109m (16,762ft) above sea level.

After breakfast, set out on an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park's diverse ecosystem, comprising grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes, and volcanic craters supports an incredible abundance of wildlife. With the towering Rwenzori Mountains 5,109m (16,762ft) as a backdrop, you may encounter lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck.
After lunch, enjoy a 2–3 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This stretch of water is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of hippos in the world, as well as opportunities to spot crocodiles, elephants and other animals along the banks.
The launch cruise also provides excellent opportunities for photography, birdwatching and game viewing. The birdlife here is both colorful and prolific, with more than 600 recorded species.

After breakfast, drive south to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area famous for its tree-climbing lions that often rest high in the branches during the heat of the day. The drive through the park offers further wildlife viewing opportunities and you will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
In the late afternoon, set out on a game drive in search of the tree-climbing lions, as well as elephants, buffalo, antelope species and more.

After an early breakfast, depart Ishasha for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This scenic journey takes around 6 hours and passes through the Kigezi Highlands, an area often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa." The drive winds through terraced hills and curving mountain roads before reaching the edge of the Bwindi Forest. Along the way, you will stop for lunch before continuing to your lodge near the park.

Day 12

Today is the big day! Get ready for an unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants of the forest — the rare mountain gorillas. For most visitors, this is the absolute highlight of their safari. In groups of no more than 8, you will venture into the forest in search of the gorillas. Along the way, your guide will point out signs of their presence, such as dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots.
The trek itself is an adventure, taking you through forested slopes, tangled vines, thick undergrowth and stands of bamboo. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend up to 1 hour with them, observing their behavior and family interactions, before returning to the starting point.
In the evening, you will visit a nearby community for a cultural experience with the local people who live around Bwindi. Here, you will learn about their traditions, history and way of life.

Day 13
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, located in the Kigezi region. Known for its stunning scenery and tranquil atmosphere, Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda at around 900m (2,950ft) and is dotted with more than 20 small islands.
Here you can enjoy a range of activities, including swimming, dugout canoeing, sunbathing, hill climbing, mountain biking and even crayfishing.

Day 14

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The journey takes approximately 5 hours, with a stop in Mbarara for lunch.
Arrive at the park early enough to enjoy both a wildlife game drive and a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Expect to encounter animals such as zebras, elands, buffalo, and oribi among others.
Birdwatchers will also be delighted, as Lake Mburo hosts more than 250 recorded species, including the papyrus gonolek, brown-faced lapwing, Carruthers's cisticola, the rare white-winged warbler and the bare-faced go-away bird.

Day 15
Drive to Entebbe

After breakfast, set out on a guided wildlife walk in Lake Mburo National Park, accompanied by an armed ranger for your safety. During the walk, you may come across herds of zebras peacefully grazing alongside the long-horned ankole cattle. For those who start out even earlier, there is also the chance to spot Lake Mburo's hyenas returning to their caves.
Return to the lodge for lunch before beginning the drive back to Entebbe. On the way, stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers to see ceremonial drums being crafted using traditional methods passed down through generations. You will also pause at the equator crossing (0° latitude) for photographs and the classic "one foot in each hemisphere" experience.
You will then continue to Entebbe International Airport, arriving in time for your evening or night departure flight.
